After the successful attendance of the Monday courses, I’m considering keeping them running in the future.
If we keep them an extended curriculum and development classes, we could have 50% ran for free to help prepare students for exams, competitions and give a few lesson outside of Shotokan (Weapons, Fitness, Flexibility), etc)
The next three are as follows
MONDAY 8th 6:30pm WEAPONS FOR FUN (£5) LIMTED SPACE
MONDAY 15th 6:30pm COMPETITION KUMITE (£5)
MONDAY 22nd 6:30pm TEKKI WORKSHOP – FREE OF CHARGE – Blue belt+
MONDAY 29th 6:30pm COMBAT CLASS (£5)
MONDAY 6th 6:30pm SQUAD TRAINING and 2022 Team Selection for kumite. £5 – all money raised buys shin pads for next year. I’m hoping to raise enough for at least 1pair of each colour (all sizes) for ANY member to use at competitive events – should they not have them.
MONDAY 13th 6:30pm WEAPONS FOR FUN (£5) LIMTED SPACE
If I could run them all FREE I would, but hall hires are at an all time high and I further increased them with additional holiday classes. I have a target of 225 students before I increase hall hire hours, but I think the combination of paid classes and free is a healthy trial. If it doesn’t work then nothing is lost. All profit will go towards our guest instructor and squad development fund (I have a target of £2500 towards instructors, squad and/or equipment)
