So I’ve been thinking about the next stage of online learning. I would like something that students can dip in and out of and that appeal to all levels without taking it too serious yet maintain a good standard to return with.
Here’s my thinking…
1. Karate for fitness
Classes with an emphasis on drills and the ‘highs’ of exercise classes
2. Karate for technique
All the punches, kicks, strikes and blocks of the current syllabus
3. Karate for health
Core strength and flexibility to develop those deep stances and high kicks
4. Karate for fun
All the things I love about karate. Competition drills, games and reaction exercises.
5. Karate to share
(Future teachers only). This is not an easy class. Train like a sensei to one day be the sensei.
6. Karate for Life
Kata drills that you can practice in space at home in your own time.
